Authors Make claims Bronze at the World Whisky Awards 2026
We are proud to share that Authors Make Ex Tasmanian Pinot and Ex Bourbon cask has been awarded Bronze at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards, for Small Batch Single Malt releases 12 years and under. This release brings together bold Christmas spice with honey and vanilla on the nose, followed by nutmeg, cocoa and a light touch of smoke on the palate. The finish carries warming spice, dried fruit and a clean Dutch apple tart note. Maker Dale explains - "Traditionally our Authors Make has been either single cask Tas Pinot or a vatting of Tas Pinot casks. Following the success of our 2024 Gold medal Sherry(Apera) /American oak vatting I experimented in early 2025 with introducing some bourbon cask...

Fire Horse will land in time for Chinese New Year, and we're pretty excited. But you'll need to be quick as there is very limited availability of this special release.

Eden Whisky enters a new chapter
We have some wonderful news to share...the time has come for a new chapter for Eden. Following the careful stewardship of founders Dale and Claire, Eden has found a new owner to take the reigns. Hobart-based Jason Xu, a passionate whisky man, has fallen in love with Eden and will continue to build the incredible brand and share its lovely whiskies.

Sometimes no matter how hard you try to control the variables, things go pear shaped. Some of those “mistakes” turn out to be serendipitous discoveries.
Heare Yeaste, Heare Yeaste
Back in 2018/ 2019, we trialled various yeast strains before settling upon one that suits our style perfectly. We were seeking quality of flavour vs. the higher quantity yields that the bland distillers' yeast provides.

We have designated Folklore to our Gold Label, Special Releases. The Gold Folklore label will adorn small releases from rarer casks that we have managed to source from time to time.
